VACIL ALPINE HUT

Vacil alpine hut, located in a unique naturalistic context, enjoys a spectacular view thanks to its altitude and is characterised by the presence of numerous animals. A refreshment point for all, thanks to the bivouac open throughout the year, the malga is also one of the access points to the famous ‘Giro dell’Orizzonte’ (Horizon Tour), Europe’s longest route, which runs at altitude, for bicycles and mountain bikes and which connects the Bruffione Pass to the Val Marza Pass, at an altitude of 2000 metres. This fully practicable supertrail offers not only maximum enjoyment, but also an extraordinary panorama: the Adamello massif to the north, Tremalzo and Monte Baldo to the east, the solitary mountains of the Croce Domini Pass to the west and Lake Idro to the south.

ROAD SIGNS

From Storo, take the road in the vicinity of Agri 90 (a producer of Storo’s yellow flour) to Faserno. Once past this mountain village, continue along the entirely asphalted road, following the signs in the direction of Vacil.
